Natália Luiza Campos recently visited Goa, with the support of Instituto Camões, for an initial research trip focused on Goa. She selected works of Goan literature, which she will now contextualize through her research. In Goa, she sought to meet people and experience scents and flavors to better contextualize her readings and the creation of the theatre piece she will direct, which is set to premiere on October 2, 2025. As the 500th anniversary of Camões’s birth is being celebrated—and considering that he had been in Goa—she took the opportunity to present a recital built around Camões’s poems and works by Portuguese writers inspired by his poetry. This recital was held at the premises of Instituto Camões.
