The agreement between the School of Hospitality and Tourism in Portugal and the V.M. Salgaocar Institute of Hospitality in Goa was signed in 2017. This agreement has enabled annual exchanges between the two countries. During February, students from Portugal visit Goa, and in April, students from Goa visit Portugal. For one month, each country showcases the best of its cuisine and culture through guided tours and cooking workshops. The agreement has also facilitated the signing of employment contracts between the two countries.
