Fernando Bras has been in India for three years as the NBA’s Technical Director. He is responsible for managing the coaches who teach basketball in 13 cities across India, including 73 schools, as well as the academies in each town. For him, it is essential to create a structure that allows basketball to be played year-round and to try to increase the number of basketball fans, bearing in mind that India’s national sport is cricket.
