Fundação Oriente has been supporting the cause of Portuguese language in Goa for the last 24 years and has dedicated a prize for the best Portuguese students in their respective classes.

This prize was primarily motivational for the students, more so  during the pandemic.  The number of teachers and students decreased during this time and this prize was in fact an incentive for those who persisted.
