Mrinalini Tewari is at Fundação Oriente to present her documentary “Ruins and Mortal remains” which portrays the Christian community (Kristi community) – of the old Korlai Portuguese territory. In the village of Korlai, to this date, there are around 250 families that speak a Portuguese based “creole” with the name Nou Ling (our language in creole). This dying language, as Mrinalini explains, will become extinct in a few years.
